Miss America 2008 Finals, Kirsten Haglund
Miss Michigan Kirsten Haglund was crowned the new Miss America 2008.
Kristen, the 19-year-old winner of Miss America pageant is this year’s youngest contestant and was beating out 51 other contestants.
She beat the first runner up, Miss Indiana Nicole Elizabeth Rash and the second runner up Miss Washington Elyse Umemoto for the $50,000 scholarship and year of travel that comes with the crown.
