She stars as Dani Reese the partner of Charlie Crews’ (Damian Lewis) in NBC s new drama series “Life.”

Playing a lesbian on “The L Word” for a year spiked her sex appeal, but it wasn’t till she joined NBC’s “Life” that her acting skills took center stage. Relatively desexualized and increasingly angered by her partner’s philosophical dribble, her character Dani is always on the verge of snapping…but in an extremely comical way. You honestly don’t know if you should laugh or hide behind the couch. Funniest line of the season: “You mention that butterfly and I’m going to find it and rip its wings off.”
